My life is heavily saturated with beauty and fashion. From spending hours on end perusing the merchandise on e-shopping sites, attending previews and beauty launches, being flooded with press releases, there is a lot out there to sift through.
Through my efforts, I often come across items that fill me with lust and items that are so amazing and useful that they have been deemed musts. I can’t always include these items in specific stories I’m working on so I’ve devised a new way to share my amazing finds: a regular lust-haves and must-haves post!
MUST HAVE: Koolaburra Kythira Feather Sandals, $150. These sandals are so fantastically boho and totally unique. They’re definite compliment-commanders and are the perfect way to elevate your summer wardrobe.
LUST HAVE: Marc Jacobs Tweed Sequins Debbie Mini Bag, $895. The cross-body bag is my new favorite style and this one is just phenomenal. The textured leather gives it a worn, vintage-feel while the sequins inject a modern, playful sensibility, simply stunning.
MUST HAVE: DL1961 Jessica Skinny Jeans, $168. A great pair of skinny jeans is a tough-find, they usually either make you feel like your thighs are stuffed sausages or stretch out so much that they’re not even skinny jeans anymore by the end of the day. Well, DL1961 jeans are designed with a unique 4-way stretch. They literally mold to your form, providing enough room for comfort while maintaining their incredible flattering shape.
MUST HAVE: Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 30, $30. This mineral powder is a summer beauty essential and will protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays while evening out your complexion.
LUST HAVE: Rag & Bone Victoria Wedge Sandals, $550. These wedges are simply to-die-for and will make your legs look longer and leaner than you ever thought possible.
MUST HAVE: T by Alexander Wang Long Sleeve Boat Neck Dress, $95. I have a dress similar to this one and let me tell you, it is the most versatile item in my closet. A simple black cotton dress is such an easy go-to whether you’re going to work or on a date, a definite must to say the least!
LUST HAVE: Alice + Olivia Casey Cluster Sequin Dress, $485. There’s just something about this sexy sequined mini-dress that fills me with longing.
MUST HAVE: American Apparel Interlock Miniskirt, $25. I’m wasn’t much of a skirt person but bought this one a little while back because it went with a top I have. It turned out to be one of the best purchases I ever made and looks great with everything- tees, tanks, sweaters, blazers, pretty much any top.
