Not sure

We met in an online site and became really good friends for a long time (6months approx). Because we both open up to each other emotionally, I started to grow feelings. Im upfront with it and told him. He told me he likes me too a little bit and if we are in same country things might go on further. We still talk everyday till present day and keeps on flirting with each other. We had a rough patch but we able to go through it. He told me that he doesn’t want to lose me as I’m one of his bestfriends. I got no problem with that but I’m not sure if I got stuck on that friendzone. He cares about me a lot. Sometimes, I got annoyed when he prohibits me to talk with other guys. He gets jealous but he doesn’t want to commit. I dont know what I should do. Should I just keep on this friendship path we are in and not expect for more? Or, could it turn into other direction?
