Pastels are a HUGE trend for spring and there’s nothing better than the light, pretty, feminine colors to really get you in the mood for spring! The great thing about pastels is that they allow you to introduce color to your ensemble without being too loud. Or when you pair pastels together you get a gorgeous, feminine look without being too in-your-face.
Here are the pastel pieces I love to buy and wear now!
ASOS Ponti Mini Skirt with Belt, $45.45. This skirt is great for work and play and is such a beautiful color! Pair this with a neutral top or pair with a pastel – thinks sherbert colors here – add a nude shoe, and you’re set to go.
Zara Blazer with Frill at the Hip, $159. The perfect pastel blazer. Try pairing this with a white jean and white or cream top to look chic and crisp. The perfect jacket for a cool spring day or summer evening.
J Brand Mid-Rise Ankle Twill Skinny Jeans, $169. I LOVE colored jeans for spring and summer! They’re such a great way to add some flare to an outfit. These are great for both casual day wear or dress them up for a night on the town. You can find denim of all styles, colors and prices this season so stock up for an easy way to brighten up your wardrobe.
Mango Plumeti Sleeves Blouse, $64.99. This is such a great top! Just ever so slightly pastel, this top is easy to pair with other colors. Or if you’re not one to color block, this will pair beautifully with jeans or dress pants.
QUICK TIP: If you want to color block but you’re having a hard time trying to pair colors together, try a light colored blue denim or chambray shirt. This will give you the pastel look without the headache of trying to find a good match. My pick: J Crew Faded Chambray Popover, $72

Pastels aren’t just for little kids and spring holidays anymore – it’s fabulous and what to wear now. Have fun adding these gorgeous colors to your wardrobe this spring!
Xoxo
