    Hello,

    We just started dating but I think we’ve hit it off. Both our dates have been nearly 5 hours long. We don’t text too much but just enough every now and then.

    But he’s going to UK for vacation for 5 days now. And he’s leaving today. We have not msged each other yet today. I feel uneasy that this good thing we started will fade.

    Should I msg him today wishing him a nice trip and should I msg him throughout the 5 days or just checkin when he’s back?

    Just wish him him well on his trip and go about your business.

    If he reaches out during the trip great, if not its not the end of the world.

    5 days isn’t long and if a connection has been established, a trip won’t get in the way.

    If you are going to reach out, which I do not think you should do (he should be initiating until you are exclusive), please please please be more interesting than wishing him safe travels.

    Send him something funny related to the UK or what he is doing – a meme or something…. Even a song that reminds you of the UK.

    but I still think you should not be contacting him right now, let him do it.

    You are anxious, which means you are over invested in someone you barely know.

    Just wish him well for the travel and wait for him to reach out during or after his vacation. No harm in wishing him.

    Its brexit day so he might not come back lol. Its just a 5 day holiday for him and 2 dates for you two. So there is absolutely no way to tell how this will go. Dont overinvest and pretend there is a good thing going. Be more on the guarded site
