Beauty Review: Tracy Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow Approved Beauty Products

I recently attended a launch party for the Tracy Anderson Method Pregnancy Project DVD series at The Standard Hotel in NYC. Needless to say, it was an exciting event filled with glamorous women (Christy Turlington and Molly Sims, to name a few!), but unfortunately, I had to cut out early and miss the main reason I attended—to see Gwyneth! (Yes, Paltrow). However, my mood was lifted on the way out when I received a large bag bursting with goodies. Many of the items were for mommies, but thankfully there were a variety of products—many of which I have been enjoying on a daily basis.

Here is a rundown of my favorites:

Noodle & Boo All My Heart Soap, $15. This French-milled baby soap packaged in a large pale pink box and has an old-fashioned aesthetic. The actual soap is in a large heart shape. The smell is a super subtle baby powder scent, the texture is nice and milky and it’s obviously gentle enough for a baby’s skin, which I love.

Mama Mio Boob Tube Bust & Neck Firmer, $45. I’ve been using it almost everyday right out of the shower. I can’t tell if it’s working, but the bottle says that in 20 years I will thank them. I guess it’s never too early to firm that region of the body:) I’ve heard my mom complain more about her neck than the wrinkles on her face (lucky for her, at 66, she doesn’t have many). So ladies, don’t ignore the neck—start using firming treatments now!

Fei’d Lotion, $59.99. The ingredients in this lotion are said to improve appearance of pigmentation marks, discoloration and uneven skin tone. Perhaps it’s just wishful thinking, but I’d like to say that I’m starting to see a difference. I’ve been trying to find the right “potion” for skin discoloration for a while, and I figure why not use whatever Gwyneth uses (that’s what I’m telling myself at least)?

Organic Body Butter by Nourish, $9.99. This formula is like a body wax, a little goes a long way. I’m sure it’s great for a pregnant tummy, but I’ve been using it on my feet and it works like a dream. The scent is subtle, but clean and fresh.

It’s hard to say which of these products I will stay devoted to in the long-term, but so far I’m enjoying my little head-to-toe experiment. (Isn’t that what beauty is all about?!)

Tell me: What new skin products have you tried recently? Do you have any must-haves for winter?

I like simplicity in my beauty ritual, but just a little extra moisturizing will be worth it later. I’m pretty certain all of these products are all natural too!

Ohh all of these products not only sound great, but look pretty, too! You are so right about moisturizing the neck area…I need to get on it! I tend to put a lot of lotion on my chest and hands (other age-telling areas), but sometimes I get lazy about applying other places.
