I tend to agree with you Liz. In trying to figure out why the distancing has been going on for a year without the OP bringing it up a lot sooner, I wonder if the pandemic had something to do with it. Or maybe in the beginning of the pandemic they kept their kids away from each other and it’s just continued. I don’t know. Also… lockdown phase brought some people closer together and drove some people apart. She hasn’t said anything about how the pandemic figures in this, if it all, but it has affected pretty much all of us in some way, so all I can do is guess.
