I have been dating a guy since a few months. He is very nice and we get along very well, but he mentioned that he doesn’t believe in God. I believe in God but I am not religious. He is hinting that he wants to take the relationship to the next level and keeps saying that he is thinking about settling down. Would such relationship work and have a future?

No one can tell you that. There are views on life that you consider important and your bf also has views he considers important. Both of you decide which ones are important to share as views. That could be faith if you mark it as one. And so there are many more views you need to decide about, like money etc. My man is the Total opposite of me and on paper we wouldnt work at all. But we do because we like to argue about it in a funny way and respect each other at the same time. I think in general it might work for you to think what you want to pass on to your future kids. And see if thats possible with this guy

I just started seeing a man who is not of the same faith as me. He is a Jehovah’s Witness and I am Buddhist. However, I do think about whether it would work for us? He is a very considerate gentleman and has all the qualities that I am looking for in a man.

I think that if you respect each other and your differences, and enjoy the common interests that you share, there should not be a problem.
