Agree with Eric and others 100 percent about acting like the queen. Just as a man should act like a king. What that means for me, mostly, is that I’ve learned that my needs and desires are valuable. So if I didn’t like the idea of a woman staying at my boyfriend‘s house I would calmly express that and ask him to help me figure out a plan to make me feel comfortable. If a man is in to you, he’s going to do whatever he can to make you happy. People get confused because they think they can maneuver, or act easy breezy, or stay silent about their needs and the relationship will just magically be wonderful. I think it’s because a lot of people just want “a relationship”, instead of an authentic partnership. Men can feel the difference when a woman is operating from that kind of emotional platform. Women don’t have to say a thing, and the man will just know.

With my current boyfriend I check my emotions before speaking to him, but I always speak to him as soon as possible when I’m feeling “some kind of way”. Because MOST importantly I am ready to walk if he breaks one or my dealbreakers, or won’t give audience to a valid feeling I’m having. He knows this. He can feel this. This type of behavior and mindset, when coupled with being at peace and loving yourself doesn’t make men leave – it makes the men who are wrong for you leave. The man for you will SHOW you through word and action that you are a queen, when you show him through word and action that you are a queen.

Call your guy up. Tell him you want to come for dinner and hang out (even while they work). Be open. Know your worth and value. Be present. You’ll know what to do.
