I have been talking to this guy for the past five months. We will talk every day on the phone for an hour. The conversation always makes me laugh and it is very positive. It’s very easy to talk with him and the conversations are always flowing. He’ll tease me, I’ll tease him. We will talk about our life, hobbies, and where we want to travel in the future. At work, he has bought me lunch numerous amounts of times ( he will not let me pay either saying he wants to pay for me and it’s on him). Before the coronavirus happened, we went to dinner and it was lovely. The problem is that this guy is moving across the country this week. What should I do? Should i continue to talk with him or was I just a person he talked to/hung out with because he was lonely? In addition, I don’t know if we are just friends or he actually is into me.

Yes, he likes you but it sounds like he didn’t want to invest in something knowing he was going to be leaving soon. Men are more practical when it comes to these things, and often don’t want to get entangled when they are starting a new life somewhere else.
I wouldn’t abruptly stop talking to him but allow it to fizzle out naturally. Is he going back home, or is this a new adventure for him? If he’s going back home then the contact will probably ebb quicker as he will be back reconnecting with family, and friends, so that’s where his head will be. If its a new for him he will probably stay in contact longer if he has no one to talk with but eventually as he settles in his time will focused on other things and contact will slowly taper off, and possibly end all together at some point.
