I’ve been on 2 dates with this guy, he’s lead both dates, the first one was a coffee date and the second was a lunch date, we had an idea of going crazy golf and he asked me what I liked to do. He cancelled this date but rescheduled for next week. But between dates he never calls or texts. Is this a problem even though it’s consistent and leading the dates? I said let’s book it on the 16th March then and he agreed. But if he cancels on this one again, I’m going to ditch him.

I’d take the no contact between dates as low interest and that he’s dating around. You’re one in the rotation, and de’s making up his mind who he wants to proceed with. I think you’ve got a good plan. I wouldn’t keep seeing him past date three if he’s not communicating at all between dates.

There’s an online male dating advice guy, Doc Love- I think that’s his handle… This wacko advises not texting. Only use text to make a date.
If said guy in your post is following Doc Love advice, that’s an issue…

Totally fine at this point. Shows he is healthy and has a life. If it does not pick up after 4 or so dates, then worry about it. This makes sure you have something to talk about, and the only important thing is he wants to see you.

Hi Mary,
He said he wasn’t feeling well, he never texted since the day he cancelled but that was 2 weeks ago…its was just 4 days ago he texted whether I was free for crazy golf on the 16th. I kind of said yes…but now I’m not feeling it. I haven’t told him yet though.

Do u guys stay a long distance away from each other? I dont know its kinda odd when a person makes plan these many days in advance. So basically more than 10 day gap!that doesnt show that much interest does it? If i was in ur place i wld go if i was up for a day of golfing or an outdoor event with a casual frnd. Dont think too much over this. Hang on for a few days. If he dsnt text inbetween and if that puts u off, u can alwys cancel. But keep ur expectations low cause he dsnt seem too interested presently.

He wanted to make it this weekend but I’m going away for a weekend trip with my girlfriends so that’s why I thought next week would be better for me.

Well thats smthing 😊.. see how u feel next week. If by midweek u dont feel like meetin him, let him know that u wont be able to meet. If your in 2 minds thn go. Meet him and then take a call based on how u feel and how that day unfolds.
