I have a guy friend who I admit I have feelings for, but lately it seems as if he only calls me if hes reminded of me, fir example, we work somewhat together, so if I have to shoot him an email, that doesnt require a response, I will get a call, just to chat.. like 5 minutes later, and its disheartening, because I feel like I should be thought about unprompted if that makes sense… does this mean hes not interested in me in that way?
We are great friends, have been for a couple years, I believe he considers me his best friend, and yes, we have had an off and on romantic relationship.

A guy who is romantically interested in you doesn’t have to be reminded you exist. Sorry if this isn’t what you want to hear.
On-and-off is never a good sign. It means the guy doesn’t like you enough romantically to solidly commit. A guy who is genuinely interested in a relationship with you will not be on-and-off. He would want you all to himself, all the time– so he wouldn’t want to be “off” and risk losing you to another guy during an “off” period.
