Hi, so I went on a first tinder date on Saturday.

He paid for coffee, drinks and dinner and walked me home and kissed me. Then gave me his number as well. He even asked for a second and third date during it.

But his texts after that seemed short and almost like he doesn’t wanna talk. But he’ll message within 10 seconds but not much content in it. Note that there isn’t much to talk about, just how was your day, weather is so cold, how was your meeting.etc.

So my question is is he a player? Or just lost interest in me. He’s English so he’s always calls me darling and lovely. Is it me who’s being clingy now?

    Thanks :)

I don’t know if he’s a player, but if he isn’t actually setting a day time and place for another date then he’s not serious about you and just keeping you hanging on the line as an option for when he’s bored or the other ones ahead of you don’t pan out. Stop responding to the texts. Tell him you”re not much of a texting person and you’d rather talk or get together and then see what he does. I bet he disappears fast.

First dates are good fun but if he isn’t following up inside of a few days to schedule something else, he’s not interested. Flowery words, paying for dinner – meaningless.
