Is it normal to be jealous of your partners past?

I don’t know if I’m totally normal or not. However my fiancée has had quite a colourful past which includes relationships of sometimes 8 years sometimes for 4 etc etc. I can’t help but think about it over and over again. He’s my first serious relationship but I can’t help but think about his past. Is this normal?

It may be normal for you (since your first), but try to realize that people’s relationship allow for self-growth (It is through relationships, self growth happens).

I can understand you are feeling uneasy about it. I think it has to do with the fact he had numerous long relationships that still ended anyway. It signs to a behaviour where he sees greener grass a few years in. There are several questions i would have like did he jump from one to another, did he cheat, were there plans for marriage?
But at the same time the questions are irrelevant. Sometimes things fall just into their right place. And thats the keeper. So unless he was a total player, brags about his conquest, still has a wondering eye, i would solely base your opinion on what you and him have. You clearly posses qualities he loves, otherwise he wouldnt have asked you to become his wife
