Hi everyone,
So I’m talking to a guy who only texts. He never makes plans on meeting up. Of course, I want him to initiate and meet up, but it’s ok if he doesn’t want to. I was hoping he would just ignore me if there are no plans on meeting but he keeps texting me and I don’t want to ignore him because it’s rude. I’d rather end it.
Would saying…it seems we’ve been texting for quite a while now. I think we should just end it here. Is there any other way of telling him I’m not interested.
I know he’s not interested in me, he’s just interesting in texting. He’s just wasting my time.

I think you should stop texting back promptly. Leave his messages as unread. Respond late. He will get the hint and stop messaging. Thats what i do.

you say it is rude just to stop replying, well it is rude to message someone with no intentions of meeting them, even though he knows you want to, He doesn’t care that he is rude, then why should you?
If you want to be polite just say listen I enjoyed this but I would rather meet in real life if this is something you are not keen on doing then please stop messaging me.
I know he will say yeah we can meet but will not follow through then please feel free to stop replying.

Just say it’s been nice chatting but you’re not looking to continue texting with a pen pal, best of luck. Then you can block him.
