    Hi Everyone,

Recently, I am seeing this new guy. We have been talking for like 3 months and hang out couple times. So far we havnt been on an official date. But we would meet like once a week in a park or somewhere just for talk. However, we have decided to meet up and watch movie at his place and I ended up sleep over at his place because it was late. We got up and he didn’t even offer me breakfast. I left at his place like after 12 midday and he still didn’t offer me anything to eat. I meant I personally believe that if you are seeing this guy and you stay over at his place. Won’t that be a gesture to at least to offer or cook for the new girl you are seeing. Now, I am deciding that I should cut him off. What do you guy think?

I doubt you will hear from this guy again…

The short answer: Yes, a guy should offer you breakfast when you sleep over. I mean, even if someone who is just a friend crashed at my place (because it was late, or whatever), I would offer them breakfast!

My additional comments: I think you should cut this guy off not because of the breakfast thing, but because you’ve been talking for 3 months and he hasn’t taken you out on a date! You’re wasting your time. I don’t think he has a strong interest in you. The rudeness of not offering you anything to eat is proof, but so is his lack of initiative in taking you out.

Did you have sex when you slept over? It feels like he’s not serious about anything other than sex and you can forget about breakfast with a guy with that kind of intention.

Maybe this is just me but I will never EXPECT to be fed when staying over at someone’s place when it wasn’t PLANNED that I was staying. I would have offered the other person breakfast instead actually as a thank you.

I assumed the OP just slept and sex wasn’t involved. But if she did have sex and he didn’t even offer her breakfast, that’s even worse. No guy who has a serious romantic interest in a woman would do that!

Breakfast doesn’t have to be fancy. Of course it’s nice when a man cooks up a nice hot breakfast for you after spending the night. But cereal and toast can also be breakfast and requires minimal effort & cost. The fact that he didn’t even offer that is telling.
