I remember you posted about this guy a few weeks ago because you were worried about the pace. Things were moving kind of slow & you were concerned.
I replied and was encouraging and said slow is okay– especially since kids are involved– but the thing to watch is whether he escalates things. As in, seeing you more, gradually.
Unfortunately he seems to be regressing rather than moving things forward (if he knew he had a business trip, why would he not make a point of seeing you the weekend he got back, after you’d both been on vacation & hadn’t seen each other for weeks? Instead he books his weekend with other things?) Anyway, I’m sorry it didn’t work out as you’d hopes but I’m glad you’re putting yourself first and doing what’s best for you. We are all definitely Team Queenie here and are rooting for you :-)

Also, if you send that text, be prepared he may try to backpedal. Human nature is to suddenly want something that’s been taken away. Stay firm – you’ve seen enough here to know he’s not your guy.
