Should you wish a guy happy Valentine’s Day if your not exclusive? I think it’s a bad idea.

FYI- Roses are Red, Violets are Blue. If the guy you’re dating is busy on Valentine’s Day… the side chick is you! :) Even if you’re not exclusive the guy you’re dating should be taking you out and wishing you Happy Valentine’s day and at the least coming up with some flowers or candy!!

I would not tell someone happy valentine’s day unless we were exclusive. The opportunity for awkwardness is just tooooo ripe.

The very concept of Valentine’s day is repugnant. Let’s give chocolate, florists, card makers another day to jack up prices and pressure the sheeple into wasting money.

Then to top it off it creates stress for the sheeple.

My wife knows I love her and she loves me. We show each other that as much as we can. We don’t need a marketing company to dictate to us what is acceptable.

Warasen…Repugnant? Seriously? Do you feel the same way about Mother’s Day…another made up holiday for the florists? Or do you celebrate your mom on that day?

We all know how easy it is to get caught up in daily life and to start taking our loved ones for granted. Other than your anniversary what other day of the year do you pause and celebrate the person you love and your relationship?

Not sure what there is to be stressed out about on Valentine’s Day when you’re happily married. I know what my husband likes and he knows what I like and we enjoy having a day to celebrate our love. As do apparently all the millions of other people who participate!! If you choose not to that’s totally up to you and your wife but calling the rest of us “sheeple” because we enjoy it is rather juvenile.

Lauren,I guess it depends on how comfortable you are with this particular guy..Imo,men typically don’t expect much from St.Valentine’s Day as women..Personally,I feel it’s our day for putting up with men & there bs throughout the year!..lol..Let him tell you & if he doesn’t that’s fine too..Go out & get pampered..Make yourself feel good!..

Men should be doing the wishing unless you are exclusive
