Instead of your guy feeling relaxed around you, he feels pressure (like he’s *afraid* to offend you or upset you). Instead of you being his sanctuary and escape, you become a person (or vibe) that he wants to escape from. Instead of him feeling like your presence fills him with joy and peace, he will feel like your presence drains him of joy and peace.

    This is a bad thing…

For sure Eric. Kind of makes me afraid of ever getting into another relationship.

Fixating….obsessive about; focused on, keen on, gripped by, engrossed in, immersed in, wrapped up in, enthusiastic about, fanatical about; hooked on, wild for/about, nuts for/about, crazy for/about

“he’s fixated watching her from the security cameras at work”

“he’s fixated on choosing the songs she listens to so he can try to control her emotions and thought process.”

Music is my sanctuary. It helps keep my mood normal. Put things into perspective. Get over a hard day. A breakup. Change my mindset. Focus on my spirituality. Love songs help me love myself and help show love to others. I’m fixated on the music. Maybe that’s my problem.

Music is powerful. Words are powerful. Even words coming from stupid ads.

How do you deal with the aftermath of someone who had/has an unhealthily obsession with you?

What do you do when both people have an unhealthy obsession with eachother?

If you’re not listening to the music, you’re not experiencing music.

    Again. Whole heatedly agree there.

What if someone is changing algorithms to express how *they* feel when you’re just trying to have an intimate moment with yourself and recenter your mind and wind up losing your mind because of it?

My fixation with it is more along the lines of figuring this person out and understand where they’re coming from and why.

I have no idea what his is…. To mentally harm me?

Don’t mind me Swan. I’m just crazy.

I use music to avoid people. I’ve had a super difficult time the past 4 years. I’ve gone mad.

I use music to feel loved and validated so I don’t have to seek it from others.

I use it to stop the anxiety and escape weight of my surroundings.

Music is my passion. My hobby. My first love. My reason to get up in the morning. The reason I’m still alive. The reason I still have hope. I shared music with a man and let him get in between me and music now I’m begging to go back to the way it was before I met the guy. He never wanted me in the first place. He manipulated it and turned it against me. How stupid I was to betray music for this man. I simply can not functioning. I feel so out of place in life right now. I was happy in my ignorance. Now everywhere I go and hear music I FEEL SO HEARTBROKEN and guilty for what I’ve done to music.
