So I’ve just come out of a serious relationship. I’ve been friends with this guy I met on a flight a year ago. We’ve spoken as friends for that length of time. Now that I’m no longer attached, he’s interested in getting to know me better. I feel like he may know too much about my past relationship; as a result, it might be a bad idea to take him out of the friend zone.

So should I be skeptical…of his motives. He’s so attentive with me. I know guys can come off as interested seriously even when their real intent is one thing (sex). Any thoughts, much appreciated?

Its really hard to give advice on a question like yours. Should you be sceptical? No but common sense goes a long way. Does he know too much about your former relationship and can that affect it? I have no idea what he knows. Will he go for sex? All guys go for sex, its your job to pace them and see what other feelings he has.
Bottom line, if you dont do anything, you will never get anywhwere. You just meed to bring your gut and common sense with you

Does this guy live close by and has he asked you out? I should have asked that first

Are you interested in this guy or are you trying to get over the other guy with this guy you met on a plane? If you like the plane guy, then sure why not. He knows what he’s getting into and can make a decision to pursue you or not.
