I love you all but Sandybean illustrated how I act and close off myself and move on because I don’t want to get hurt anymore.
I saved your reply and I’m reading daily as sort of my affirmation. “I will not act out fear but strength”. Thank you!

Hi Sylvia, I’m glad to know that what I said resonated with you. I’ve been struggling with relationship anxiety in the past (and still do now at times) so your feelings sounded all goo familiar.
I’ve seen some of your other posts and like many of the responses you’ve received. I agree with everyone on this forum who suggested that you take a break from dating and seek counseling/therapy. They’re absolutely right! I had to do that to learn about myself and figure out ways to help myself. Nobody else can do that for you! It will take time (I’ve been working on myself for several years now) but it will be so rewarding. Because right now you’re not able to have a romantic relationship in which you can be you. You’re getting in your own way and you need to learn about these patters and why so you are able to make choices out of love and respect for YOURSELF and the other person, and not because panic dictates it. I hope you hear what so many people here have been saying!
Take care of yourself and all the very best! Sending you a hug

Thank you, Sandybean! I do agree, I’m already seeing a therapist, I hope to get to the root why I’m acting this way and re-wire my brain. People like you are precious :) I said goodbye for some time in another post but it’s not because I act like a offended kid. I hope your journey through life will be amazing! :)
