Need help getting over him

I was in a situationship for 2 years, he said he was scared of relationships which was fine by me until he told me he loved me at which point I called it off, he said he couldn’t live without me and couldn’t imagine being with anyone else and that he wanted to be with me. I then fell for him but then out of nowhere he ended things saying he didn’t have the motivation for a relationship but 2 months later hes now in a relationship with someone who lives 2 hours away and the complete opposite from me. Finally started to get used to fact he didn’t want me but then last night he followed me on social media, I told him not to then he blocked me but unblocked me 1 minute later and its made me upset and hurt all over again. Any tips on staying strong?
