Yes! A man has to be in a certain “mindset” in order to move it forward and progress. When a man’s life isn’t in order and/or not able to commit to all the conditions a relationship demands ($$, time, etc.), they will not take it to the next level.

Relationships require a lot of work and can be hard at times; whereas, if one isn’t wanting, ready or capable of it, then they will opt to not be in one. There were many times I had no desire to be in a relationship even if I really liked or loved the guy either due to my current lifestyle, timing, not wanting to be tied down, etc. Its really about one being mentally ‘ready’ and ‘willing’ to engage in a relationship v. feelings.
