Hi guys, first day of the year and I’m already having a crappy night!

So my bf suggested to play uno tonight which is our thing to do at times. He continues to losers about 10 games in a row and then he said ‘I’m not playing anymore, this is pissing me off’ grabbed his phone and start playing with it which just left me awks.

So i went upstairs to my bedroom trying to sleep.

I know a lot of you will think wtf this is such a petty thing but the thing is, I noticed this short temper of him. We’ve been dating almost 1.5 years now and this short temper pattern played up about 4 times. Usually he will just go quiet.

I started crying (maybe bc my period is here so I’m extra emotion) he noticed it and wondered y I’m tearing up. I told him I don’t like it, it brings negative energy to the relationship. He then says ‘what do u want me to do about it, I’m sorry. Everyone has emotions etc etc, sorry I’m not perfect’ and walked back to the room to go to bed. This is probably our 1st ever real argument since we dated.

Am I been too petty? Should I just leave guys when they are upset?

    You bruised his ego.

Men like to be winners…at everything.

So next time you play uno, or any other game don’t kick his butt everytime no matter how good you are at playing the game.

Thanks Better Off Single. Noted for next time.

We played many times in the past and some of those times he loses too.

He is a childish idiot! I get being competitive but his behaviour is way out of line… although it sounds like you overreacted a little. Is he often so ridiculous and makes you feel bad?

He did not say you were pissing him off the situation was pissing him off. We all like to win but we have to learn how to be a good loser. That is not natural, it is learned.
Next time only play a few games if he is losing and suggest a different game to play to break things up. Be inventive.
