We were together nearly a year. We split up three months ago. We remain friends. I miss him. He says he doesn’t want to be in a relationship- said he needs to focus on himself with no complications.
It’s news years eve and I miss him so much. We were together this time last year, just starting out. How does it go from that to this? Nothing awful happened, he just changed his mind and pulled away. It’s so very painful. I know I’ll be told don’t be friends, don’t live in hope, but I’m in pain and the thought of never having contact again is too much right now.

Im sorry. It sucks that it has to be that way.
Give him some space and let him focus on himself. What’s meant for you will be with you or come back.
I hope it works out.

Thank you Vicky. Those words are a real comfort. I’m sure you mean well bos but take the hint let him go from a stranger when I’m so hurting is harsh.
