I drunk texted him – what now?! Quick intervention needed

redcurleysue and hs thank you for your advice which is not common on this forum! Hs usually I’d listen to your advice but in this case I’ll back off from WhatsApp because we’re not right for each other and I don’t want to bombard him with messages just to make sure he gets it.
It’s very refreshing to hear that sometimes you just need to communicate your feelings. If I got such a message I’d be flattered. I prefer face to face interaction. Sometimes our pride and ego stop us from telling something which might make a difference in someone’s eyes. That way we never know what the outcome would be! I remember my crush from a summer camp. There was nothing at stake. I was leaving and told him during our goodbye something along the lines “I have a crush on you. I want to kiss you”. So unsexy. I kissed him then but it was a short peck. The worst “kiss” ever. I was free and knew exactly where I stood. My crush was gone. What I hate and love about life is that it’s unpredictable. There is no recipe, everyone is different. You reminded me of it.
Better of single what makes him a bad person is his character but I do know that like you said some people know how to push your buttons. I should be wiser and not let them. I’ve decided to learn and move on.
