Holiday Wishes…

It’s really sweet of you to ask!

I was totally spoiled on xmas by my kids, my bf and his daughter. My kids got me a giant funko pop jack skellington that I wanted and then turned me into mush by getting me a mom appreciation dice, 2 chicken soup for the soul books that say “thanks mom” and “for mom, with love”, and a few other things including a funny house sign (I have a collection). My kids don’t say I love you. It happens very rarely. My youngest didn’t say it until he was 14 and we were on a ferris wheel for the first time together. So these books and the appreciation dice were them saying it without saying it.

My bf and his daughter got me some really cool goodies. The best though was my bf made a wood burning and painting of a scene from the movie Up. It turned me into mush. We haven’t said the “L” word yet but this gift and the little things he does for me make me feel loved without the words. As it’s around the same time of year that we went our separate ways before I had some relationship anxiety I had to tamp down and overcome. And I’m glad I did. Spending time with all of them was even better than the gifts as there was so much love and laughter I thought my heart would burst.
