I met this guy via an online dating site. He asked for my number and we started talking via WhatsApp. We met almost one month ago. We talked about meeting up in person about 1 weeks ago and he said we would finalize plans about a week before the intended visit (next week will be one week before). He usually texts me good morning everyday at the same time. But almost always it takes him forever to respond to messages after that. There were maybe 3 or 4 times he didn’t text me good morning and he says he got busy at work. But I feel like if a guy is genuinely interested, they wouldn’t take forever to respond. I brought up his lack of responding once a few weeks ago and he told me not to overthink things because it was more important we meet in person. Idk if I should drop him or not… for instance, yesterday I told him if he had time last night to call me. His response was “sure I’ll let you know.” He never called. And I haven’t heard from him today yet. It’s so confusing! Is he interested? Is he trying to tell me he isn’t interested? Someone please help :( Also, we’re both 27.

My policy with online was if we can’t meet up within a week of chatting..NEXT!!

You wasted too much time chatting and getting to know this guy without an actual date.

    Move on please.

I’m going to address you because I think its a problem in general. You are putting way too much energy and time on someone you’ve never met. Its never a good idea to talk to anyone for too long without a plan to meet promptly or you build up these false fantasies based on some flowery words but he could be a Ted Bundy! (Look him up).

You also need to stop demanding men do things! He is under zero obligation to meet you nor is he under any obligation to keep talking to you! He is just one guy of a billion+ on this earth, like a speck of sand on a beach and shouldn’t give sand so much importance until it becomes a solid rock. Drop him if he isn’t meeting your expectations. Based on what YOU NEED from a man you haven’t even met yet, I don’t think you will have a lot of luck finding guys who will stick around for long.

And here’s all you need to know about the male brain: They will do what THEY want to do; and go after what THEY want to go after. They really are pretty simple!

Hey gals, can anyone pls help me out? I’ve been ghosted after a big fight with my guy. we met on tinder and hit something off after and had been dating and doing regular sleepover for 6 months. Last time after we had a big fight, we ended up sleeping and cuddling that night. And the next morning he gave me a hug and said catch up some time next week. It’s been almost two weeks now and i had tried to reach him. “Hey how are you?” he said “i’m good and you?” “I’m doing okay, wanna catch up tonight?” and then, i’ve been ghosted for almost a week and it rarely happened before. His fb status is always “active” and i’m pretty sure he had seen the message. My feelings got hurt so much and i cried a lot and got scared a lot. I really like him, what should i do to get him back? plssss help me……. or is this a break up thing?

Both posters need a reality check. When a guy is truly interested you cannot fend him off with a bat. These guys are fillers and not serious. And that is ok if you see each other until the right person comes along – but do not get invested in “hot and cold”. Just keep dating others.
