So i have been talking to a guy online we haven’t meet yet we txt alot all the time anyway we spoke tonight on the phone he told me about his past and really opened up and after it he said i had a cute voice i thanked him. He then says my door is always open i replied aww thanks never know what will happen in the future. He said sorry i was being a dag i then said by the way i dont think you where being a dag he said i meant u have to bring beer to get in lol. I said u can tell me what u really wanted to say i want judge.he wrote back i didnt think u would i just dont wanna get hurt anymore. Should mentioned his ex steal money off him before that another he caught in bed. Anyways he went to bed. What happened im confused i do enjoy talking to him alot. Im starting to like him. Is he just scared? can i do anything for him to trust me and prove to him i would never hurt him like his ex. Do i txt him in the morning or wait for him ?

Sweetie, you haven’t even met the man! How can you possibly know you won’t hurt him like his ex did? Because you don’t know him you can’t possibly know. Maybe they left because he was depressed all the time, maybe they left because he has a drinking or drug problem they just couldn’t handle, maybe they left because he’s lazy with no ambition and plays video games all day, maybe they left because he sucks you in with all this sweet talk and then after a few months starts treating you like crap. Can you see where I’m going here? You can’t possibly know because you haven’t me him!!
If you’ve already been texting a lot all the time then he either needs to ask you out and meet you or you need to move on to another guy who will! This is all such a waste of time. You are developing feelings for a guy who could be nothing like the person he is portraying to you. Did you read the post the other day about a girl who had been talking to a man for months and finally met him to find out he had lost both his legs?

This guy is playing you– trying to make you feel sorry for him, telling you how much his exes hurt him, telling you he’s afraid of being hurt, etc. You don’t even know him! You don’t know if any of that is even true. He should be trying to impress you and offering to take you out. Instead he’s playing on your sympathy, can’t you see that?
And instead of offering to meet and take you out, he says you can come over with beer?!
Agree with all the above. Don’t waste your time getting emotionally attached to a guy you’ve never even met. And don’t agree to meet him at his home, or bring him alcohol. HE should be taking YOU out. If he is not prepared to do that, then I would advise you to move on.
