We have been on dates, have slept together.
We have text every day for 5 months.
He initiates conversation and asked me out again but then backed off.
He said it was getting too full on and he was used to just going from girl to girl.
We met up last week with a mutual friend and ended up kissing.
    He initiated the kiss.
    I’m confused
Why say friends then kiss me.

Sounds like he wants an FWB.
Some guys like the companionship and chatting with no strings attached.

If this is n’t what you want you can always decide not to text back.

He kissed you because of the physical attachment towards you. He has explicitly said he’s more into playing the field and you should believe that.

I secretly pride myself in having good coughgodlikecough self-control. But honestly, make an ex that I’ve slept with invade my personal space and I fear I’d be powerless and make a move like an idiot. At least that’s what I did with my first ex years ago even though I made it clear to her I had no serious intentions. Perhaps I’m even more stronger today but it just goes how you shouldn’t read into a former lover getting physical with you.

The reason he texts you everyday is because it’s entertaining, engaging activity and pass-time. Nothing more.

Khadija’s companionship is a great point. I’ve texted females in the past that I never even flirting with. It was strictly friendly conversation but I enjoyed having people to chat with everyday.
