Hello, a while ago a man asked me for my phone number. I hesitated so he gave me his. After more than a month I wrote to him but he can’t remember it. Sure we have nothing to do with each other. He works in a restaurant where I rarely go and that’s where I know him and that’s where he spoke to me. He just asked why he gave me his number. He hasn’t read my last two messages and I don’t know what to do. Either he really can’t remember and doesn’t answer strangers’ messages, or it has taken me too long and he’s no longer interested. Should I call him or speak to him in the restaurant, but I don’t want to be pushy either. What should I do now? I would really like to get to know him.

Nah, keep it moving. If he don’t remember you and isn’t trying hard to do so, then boy bye. Time has passed and whatever impulse he had at the moment has faded.

But I find him very attractive. I dont know whats going on but maybe i should give it a try and talk to him at the Restaurant? Im so sad that he doesnt remember but he seemed to be really interested in me. After he asked for my number he also asked if i was looking for a partner.

Why didn’t you give him your number to start with?
Why did you wait a month to text him?

If he works @ a restaurant & gave you his number, imagine how many more numbers he has…

I agree with the others- this ship has sailed. The guy probably gives his number to different women on a daily basis. He only seemed interested in you because he was flirting. You’ll have to let it go and not obsess– remember he is a stranger. If you start calling him or showing up at his workplace, you’ll look like a stalker (imagine if the situation were reversed, and a man starting calling and showing up at the restaurant of a waitress he liked but had no interest in him? We’d all say he was a stalker).

“After he asked for my number he also asked if i was looking for a partner.”

That means nothing. He was probably looking for a hookup and wanted to make sure you didn’t want anything serious. At any rate, you can’t hold a total stranger to an offhand comment they made when they were flirting with you. Actions speak louder than words- look at his actions. He doesn’t even remember you. He was not serious.
