    hello all,

I met this guy in college, I’m 20 and he’s 22, and we’ve been seeing each other for about 6 months. It started as a hookup but after we went away for a weekend together things really amped up. We saw each other every day, slept together overnight, talked about our feelings and our futures and went out during the day. Basically, your normal relationship type activities.

The problem was, he was graduating. So I was too scared to ask what was going to happen and so we would always start a conversation about how much we wanted to be together but then we’d trail off and change the conversation and I’d always try to keep it light hearted so I never suggested “hey, should we try long distance.” Half of me feels if he wanted that he would’ve made it clear?

Now I’m hours away from him and he’s graduated school and I have two more years. Seeing him isn’t a problem I’m planning on visiting him and then when school starts again he’ll visit me and etc etc. we haven’t seen each other in a week and he started off calling me and texting me all the time but in less than 8 days it’s come down to a couple Snapchat’s (best with me we are young lol) and that’s really it so I’ve been backing off.

I know this isn’t how I should be feeling and how this situation should be going if it’s for the long haul, so I’m not sure what to do or what to say. I want to see him when he visits and I want to keep in touch, but the not knowing what we’re doing is gonna kill me.

You know what you need to do, you need to talk to him.

Are you continuing in a LDR, or not?
