Hey all! So, I wanted to get your advice on whether or not I should tell my boyfriend (we are both in our 30’s) about a co-worker that I had a fling with before he and I became official.

Long story short, my bf and I dated on and off for awhile because he has commitment issues. He floundered a lot about being in a relationship which was really frustrating – and a few months before we became official, he had told me once again that he still wasn’t ready to be in a relationship. At that time I ended up having a short fling with my co-worker. Then my bf finally came around and we became official, so obviously things with my coworker ended. Now my bf and I have been together for 2 years, things are going great and we are ready for ready for engagement/marriage.

I still work with my coworker who I had the fling with but because it happened during a time when my bf still didn’t want to commit to me, I don’t feel like I need to tell my bf now. But there can be moments (few and far in between) where I feel guilty since I still work with this coworker and see him in the office. I’m also the type of person to overthink everything.

    Thoughts?

Why on Earth would you tell him this?
    It’s ancient history… Lose lips sink ships…

Thanks ladies!! I know it happened when the current bf and I were dating but he did not want to be in a relationship yet, so we were not official yet :)
    Phew, thanks!
