How often do guys really give second chances? Especially if you weren’t dating this guy. More like hung out a couple of times and it went great but think I damaged his perception of me because i had an off night when we were together. I apologized and he forgave me but he said he needs time to cool off from the situation and I respect that. I haven’t been texting him since he said he needed some time. In a month or so I thought about seeing if he would consider a fresh start and tell him I’ve been working on myself (which I have). Is this wrong to do? Obviously I can listen to the whole “if he wants to text me he will” and that makes sense because guys don’t like to feel suffocated/pressured. But I’m also one to not have regrets and I think I would regret not asking him for a second chance because there was a connection there that ended too soon (my fault but still)

You were having an “off day”? I don’t understand what you mean by that?
Second chance? Fresh start? Doing what? Hanging out? Is this just a friendship situation?

You posted the “messed up on 2nd date, how do i get another chance?” thread, didn’t you? The two of you got really drunk on the 2nd date, he yelled at you & you went off on him & said hurtful things?
You’re not going to get the answer you want to hear by posting a different misleading thread containing less info.

Working on yourself requires a lot of self reflection, recognizing triggers, getting fitter, gaining self control etc. So exactly what you been doing so far? Clearly i dont really believe you. The fact alone you started a new threat with less info like liz lemmon said indicates youre just as thick in the head as before. Going off on a guy on a second date shows you are emotionally unstable. If this guy was yelling at you, it shows he is emotionally unstable. If you are still interested after all of this, it shows you are not working on yourself

PLEASE would you use another name. I’ve been “K” on here for a long time and it’s confusing when two people are using the same handle. There are 25 other letters in the alphabet to choose from!! Thanks.
