Disappeared for 2 weeks and then came back

So, I’ve been constantly talking and texting with a guy. We had so many things in common, we could easily understand each other. We were building plans for future and so on. But once I felt like our conversations weren’t going so well and the next day he didn’t text me, I didn’t either. This situation was continuing for about two weeks and finally when I only started accepting and moving on, he came back and texted again with the message “it’s been a long time”.
He didn’t say he was sorry or anything else like that, he just told he had been busy with exams.
Part of me wants to believe that he missed me and that’s why he texted, and another part just wants to end this. Is he only playing with me?

Any guy who disappears on you without warning and surfaces with a lame ‘Long time no see or hey stranger” text is to dismissed with the quickness! He’s not reliable, untrustworthy, and has low to zero interest in you.

If you’re only talking and texting without meeting and time has passed then he’s a pen pal not boyfriend material.

Move on, block him or just ignore him and talk to people who actually want to meet you and put in the effort.
