Welcome to part two of my holiday gift series and it’s all about the wonderful ladies in your life! Where would we be without our girlfriends, sisters, and moms by our sides? They’re there with us every step of the way, are shoulders to cry on, our best support system, and the people we love to have fun with and because of that they deserve a little something special for being such a fabulous part of your life. Here are some gift ideas for these amazing women to help you find the perfect gift.
Please note, I know that there are also rockin’ grandmas and aunts out there too but I kept it to the basics here or this list could have gone on forever. The gifts on this list are also great options for those fab ladies in your life, too!
FOR YOUR GIRLFRIENDS AND SISTERS

This is a great way to show that you appreciate their creativity and passion about something, whatever it may be.
StyleMint.com Gift Card – 1 credit, $29.99. I love my stylemint tees – they are by far the most comfortable and well fitting t-shirts I own, so why not pass that on to one of your fellow ladies. With tons of styles to choose from, she’s bound to find something that fits her taste and she’ll thank you for tuning her on to a shirt so amazing. This can work for any of the “mint” sites or those heavenly monthly shoe clubs you totally love.
Posh Vintage 60s Ivory Sequins, $125. Sometimes it’s hard to find that perfect gift for that one friend–the one who has interesting style or is hard to please–and this is where vintage shopping comes into play. One of a kind pieces are always a winner with the right friend and finding a vintage treasure is fun for both you and her. If she loves hosting parties, why not search for a vintage bar set (glasses and a mixer for instance) or a really interesting serving platter. If she’s into music, vintage vinyl and concert t-shirts are a great option. If she’s the fashionista, look for interesting pieces that suit her taste. Once you see something, you’ll know if it’s the one.
FOR MOM:

This particular company just happens to belong to a great personal friend of mine and my go-to photographer for all of my photo sessions (she’s brilliant), but gifting your mom a family photo shoot is something that’s totally unexpected and completely thoughtful. My mom loves the idea of getting the family together for a day of fun family photos, mainly because as my brother and I get older, our schedules get more packed. By getting together to take that lasting image, your mom can keep you all in her office, home, wallet at all times. Plus, pictures always add character and life to any room and having one of her family is the best photo of all, so find a great local photographer and schedule a session for all of you.
Sarah Chloe Treo Combo Necklace, $298. If your mom loves jewelry, this is a great gift idea. Getting her a necklace, bracelet, or ring with your initials on it is an amazing way for her to keep you with her, plus it’s a great accessory she can add to any look. This particular necklace is past the order date for arrival by Christmas, but check out other sites like Etsy or head to your local jeweler to see what options they have. If anything, you can always order or purchase a similar necklace and have engraved at your local jewelry or trophy store.
William-Sonoma Smart Tools Kitchen Stand for Tablets, $49.95. If your mom loves to cook, this is an awesome gift for her. My mom loves to cook (she’s the best!), but there are times when she relies on recipes off her iPad when trying something new and unfamiliar. During Thanksgiving, while trying one of these new recipes out, she was having a rough time getting her iPad to stand with its case and in the process she was making a complete mess – all over her iPad (of course). Moms deserve some luxury, especially after all of the hard work she puts into taking care of her family, so a great investment bag is a fabulous gift. You don’t need to spend a lot of money on an investment piece, there are plenty of affordable options out there. Splitting the cost with other family members is another way to keep your costs down. Just be sure to invest in something that’s timeless, totally her style, and something high-quality that she can and will want to use every day.
Oscar Blandi Salon Services, Prices Vary. Spa packages or salon gift cards are always a great gift for your hardworking mom. It’s a way to let her experience some pampering and a great way for her to unwind after a long and stressful holiday season. Pick up a good ol’ fashioned gift card if you’re not sure what she wants, or treat her to a package or service that she’s always talked about wanting to get but hasn’t indulged in. A quiet and relaxing day of beauty spoiling will definitely make any mom happy.
