Runway Review: Badgley Mischka

The Badgley Mischka Spring 2010 collection was all about wearable glamour. Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka stated  that they were inspired by Cuba in the 50′s, explaining “We were at some friends house in Palm Beach and they had some pictures of their families before they moved to the states and they lived these beautiful lifestyles in Havanna. They wore couture morning, day, and night and at a party every night, and the jewels!  Of course today it’s a different world, but we just wanted to bring a little but of that to our customer.” And so they did with a whole array of fabulous pieces- relaxed jumpsuits, trousers, sharp pant-suits, swim-wear, day dresses, cocktail frocks, and plenty of red-carpet worthy gowns.
