Muse-Worthy: 5 Amazing NYFW Street Style Looks To Emulate

NYFW isn’t just about watching what struts down the runway – it’s also about watching what struts down the street.  One of my favorite parts of fashion week is checking out the amazing street style because it really inspires me to amp up my looks or try new things.

You won’t find any better than Fashion Week style, so that that said here are 5 incredible looks to pull off now!

LOOK 1: I absolutely love this look.  It’s classic, it’s edgy, and it’s fun and can work for so many different situations.  You can mix and match the pieces, pair the top with a different bottom, try pairing the look with a different top – you get the idea.  Definitely a great look for now and these are pieces that you can wear into spring and save for fall.  Worthy of the investment.

look 1

Shirt: Alexander Wang Split Back Tuxedo Shirt ($450); Jacket: Reiss Bryony Cropped Leather Jacket ($615); Vest: Haute Hippie Sequined Silk Vest ($295); Leggings: MM6 BY MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA Legging ($110); Booties: Giuseppe Zanotti Lasercut Bootie ($1,095); Bag: Mulberry Effie Satchel ($900)

LOOK 2: Definitely for the not so faint of fashion heart, this is one hell of a bold look that serious fashionistas should take note from.  I love the burst of colors, paired with a crazy fun print and some serious neutrals.  This look is super funky but somehow it all just pulls together to work.  I’m definitely buying this jacket and I’m highly considering purchasing the remaining pieces to rock this look immediately!

Top: Diane von Furstenberg Noa Bis Sweater ($325); Jacket: ASOS Mongolian Fur Jacket ($136; NOW: $81);Pants: Matthew Williamson Floral-Print Silk Pants ($875);Boots: Zara Quilted Flat Ankle Boot ($169); Bag: Cambridge Satchel Patent Leather Satchel  ($160), Necklace: Anthropologie Piuma Necklace ($248); Sunglasses: Cole Haan Metal Classic Aviator Sunglasses ($98)

LOOK 3:  Can I just say how much I love Leandra Medine’s, aka The Man Repeller, style.  She can rock some serious fashions and does it oh so well and I must say I’m jealous of her ability to wear it with such ease.  This look is relatively toned down for her, but looks fab nonetheless.  This is a great look to take you from casual lunch with the girls to a fun night out on the town with your significant other.  Plus, the pieces are classic so you’ll be rotating them around plenty in your closet.

Top: All Saints Silk Biker T-shirt ($68); Coat: French Connection Smart Catch Belted Trench Coat ($328); Blazer: Tibi Maverick Suiting Blazer ($495); Jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch A&F Super Skinny Jeans ($88; NOW:$49); Boots: TOPSHOP PARISA Premium Western Boots ($260); Clutch:  Elliott Lucca ‘Cordoba’ Clutch ($98);Rings: Adina Reyter Square Stack Rings $121; Necklace: Sarah Chloe Sophia & Maya Combo Necklace ($197)

LOOK 4: I love this look because it’s totally unexpected yet looks so chic.  I love the blending of the stripes with the bold red pant, the gingham print shirt layered underneath, and the camel coat that tops it all off.  This is such a fresh, spring-like look for me and one that I will most definitely be taking inspiration from.  Again, some more great classic pieces that investing in will pay off in the long run.

Shirt: J.Crew Stretch Perfect Shirt ($72); Coat: Haider Ackermann Basket Weave Coat ($1,386; NOW: $693); Blazer: Denny Rose Blazer ($175); Pants: Joie Davidson Trousers ($268); Shoes: Rupert Sanderson Navy Patent Pumps ($595); Bag: Gap Leather Tote $125

LOOK 5: I absolutely love this look.  It’s sporty, it’s edgy, and it’s slightly preppy making for one interesting combination.  This is a great look that can take you from day to night (you may want to opt out of the knee highs for work) and it’s also a playful look for casual days running errands and meeting up with friends.  All of these pieces are also great and will give you lots of longevity, except for the ombre coat, but it’s great for now or to buy and keep in the back of your closet for a rainy day.
