5 Fall Shoe Essentials

Ahh, fall shoe shopping – those three little words make me so happy!  Nothing comes between a girl and her shoes, so having reason to go buy a new pair (or several) is sweet music to my ears.  Fall is right around the corner, so it’s time to start planning which shoes you’re going to be investing in.  Pick a trend or two that you’re totally craving and start there.

So here we go – here are 5 fall styles every girl should have in her closet.

The Sky High Non-Platform Heel
Sky high heels are a definite must for fall.  If you already have them, flaunt them.  If you don’t then you may want to get out and invest in a pair. I love these Tory Burch pumps because even with their sexy high heel, they’re still perfect for a day at the office and a great day to night shoe.  I’m also loving the whole non-platform look.  Some of my favorite shoes are single soled and it just looks clean and feminine.

The Bootie

Ankle booties are definitely a must for fall.  The reason why I love them is because they are so easy to incorporate into any look and are a great alternative to those knee high options you own.  These Nine West wedge booties are the perfect fall pair – they’re neutral and they’re a wedge, making them extra comfy.  Pair with a pair of colored slim fit trousers for work, rock with your favorite pair of jeans for night, or pair with a great skirt or maxi dress.

The Flat Boot
Flat boots are great for all occasions – day, night, office, or your favorite happy hour bar.  They’re also great for getting you through winter when the snow is piled high and running around in heels isn’t the best option.  I’m in love with these Ralph Lauren riding boots – they’re chic, classic, and preppy and go with just about anything.   Pair with your favorite skinny jeans, rock with some jeggings, pair with trousers, or why not pair with a great LDB or skater skirt.  Definitely a style that you’ll get plenty of use out of and will keep in your closet from season to season.

The Flat
Fall is a great time to invest in a perfect flat.  The days of running around in your fave flip flops and sandals are now gone, but you’re feet still want some of that comfort.  I am so digging these Alexander Wang brogues this season.  They’re the perfect blend of boy meets girl and I could see myself wearing these with EVERYTHING.  And what I like about these is they’re kind of like a boot, but not really so it allows you to keep your feet warm and dry while also switching it up a little bit.  So invest in a flat – it can be a bootie, a ballerina, a smoking slipper. Whatever style, just find one (or two, or three…) and invest!

The Knee High:
Well, I just found my new fall boot purchase right here.  But before I get into that, let me start saying I love knee high boots.  Not only are they great at keeping you extra warm when you need it, but they add a bold statement to your look. Ok, so back to these boots.  Did I mention I love them?!  I love the business in the front, party in the back vibe going on.  And the print – amazing and totally on trend (yes, bold prints are a definite this season).  Perfectly  chic and easily wearable with a ton of different looks – with everything from jeggings and a cozy, slouchy sweater, jeans and a sexy top,  with a flirty mini dress.  And if you’re a bold fashionista, try rocking these with a pair of printed trousers/jeans to really make things interesting.

Boots are the best option. My Cicihot boots really does the job for me. it looks stylish while not having to suffer from cold feet. I am a short girl so i really can’t wear Knee Highs.
