3 Fabulous Fall/Winter Outfits Under $80

The cold weather is officially upon us (some of you have even experience snow already) so it’s really time to start investing in some new cold weather gear.  And while the sound of that is music to our ears, it’s not necessarily for our wallet.  I always suggest buying a few key investment pieces each season, or something you’re so madly in love with that you’ll use your money’s worth out of it, but for everything else there’s nothing wrong with sticking to a budget.

I scoured some of my favorite budget friendly stores to come up with some great outfit ideas that keep with the season’s best trends, all for under $80.

 1. Winter Whites: I LOVE white regardless of what time of the year it is, but I’m especially fond of it during the late fall and winter months.  There’s just something so incredibly chic and timeless about it, while still being a little edgy and sexy.  This is a great bang for your buck outfit here, because you can literally complete your entire outfit (shoes included!) for under $80.

What’s great is that these pieces look fabulous together, but can also be easily paired separately throughout your wardrobe.  Try adding some really great statement jewelry or a black or navy blazer here, and this is a great outfit to take you from day to night or to get you through all of your holiday get-togethers.

Sweater: Forever 21 Longline Geo Sweater ($24.80); Pants: Forever 21 Essential Pintucked Ankle Trousers ($24.80); Shoes: Forever 21 Pointed Faux Suede Pump ($19.80); Necklace: Forever 21 Rhinestoned Owl Necklace ($.80);  Belt: Forever 21 Metallic Hip Belt ($4.80)

2. The Printed Pant: Printed pants are everywhere this season, so I suggest investing in at least one pair that you love and will get great use out of.  I love this pair from H&M because the print bold without being too bold.  Plus, it takes on a little of the oxblood trend, so you’re kind of killing two trends with one pant.  Perfect for work, play, or a casual afternoon, these pants will take you wherever you need to go.  I chose to spotlight these pants in a work outfit, but try pairing with a chunky cream sweater or cardi and a pair of your favorite flats for a more casual look.  Ankle booties and a flowing/sexy/feminine blouse layered under a fur (faux or real) vest or a great leather biker jacket is perfect for night.

Top: H&M Beige Long Sleeve Tee ($14.95); Pants: H&M Slim Fit Trousers (49.95); Necklace: H&M Fabric Necklace (17.95)

                                                                                         Pair With:

Blazer: River Island Black Blazer ($71); Black Pumps: Jean-Michel Cazabat Emma Pump ($275); Nude Pumps: Christian Louboutin Love Me ($895)

3. Sequins: What would the holiday season be without sequins?  Actually, let me rephrase that – what would your wardrobe be without sequins?!  I’m a huge fan and wear it year-round, but this time of the year is definitely the perfect time to get your shine on.  This look is great for holiday parties, grabbing a drink and catching up with old friends who are in town, date nights – you name it.  And what’s better is that you’ll get plenty of use out of this super cute skirt even through the spring and summer.

The top and skirt are both easily interchangeable with the rest of your wardrobe, so you can easily mix and match, but paired together it creates a really chic, yet flirty look.  With all of the bling of the skirt I would keep the accessories pretty minimal, but a thin long chain or some delicate arm candy will work perfectly with this.  And if you don’t want to bare leg it in the cold weather, flesh colored tights are great to keep the look clean, but funking it up a little with some colored tights – oxblood, hunter green, pastel pink – will work just as well.

Top: Stylemint Ridgeway Tee ($29.99); Skirt: Lulus Sequin Skirt ($45); Tights: Forever 21 Beehive Tights ($6.80)

Pair With:

Blazer: Rag & Bone SIlver Tuxedo Jacket ($495); Shoes: Ivanka Trump Brynn Pump ($140); Clutch: Karen Millen Satin and Suede Clutch ($99)
